Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of bedc.shop, which Be DC ("B★DC", "we", "us") runs. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What this site is
bedc.shop presents B★DC, a city logo and motto for Washington, DC, and links to products that carry the mark. We don't sell anything on bedc.shop itself.
2. Buying B★DC products
When you click "Shop this design", you leave bedc.shop for our Printful Quick Store at bedc.printful.me. Printful, Inc. is the seller and merchant of record for every order there. Your purchase is a contract between you and Printful under Printful's Quick Stores Terms of Sale and Terms of Service, which include an arbitration clause. Under Printful's terms today:
- Printful makes each item to order and ships within the United States.
- Printful doesn't accept returns or size and color exchanges.
- If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, you can ask Printful for a replacement or refund within 30 days of delivery.
- If a package never arrives, you have 30 days after the estimated delivery date to file a claim with Printful.
- Printful sets shipping costs and taxes at checkout.

We keep the prices and product details on bedc.shop in step with the store, but you pay the price shown at Printful's checkout.
3. The B★DC mark and our content
We own the B★DC logo and motto. Our U.S. trademark application, serial no. 99376168, is pending. You may share links to bedc.shop and post photos of yourself wearing B★DC. Without our written permission, you may not put the mark on products, signs or ads, or use it in a way that suggests we endorse you. We or their owners hold the rights to the text, photos and designs on this site, and you may not copy them for commercial use.
4. No endorsements
B★DC is an independent project. The Government of the District of Columbia doesn't run, endorse or sponsor it. When we pair a "Be ___" phrase with an organization, event or place, we show an example of how the motto could work. That pairing doesn't mean the organization endorses or works with B★DC unless we say so.
5. Using the site
Don't use bedc.shop to break the law, send spam or harmful code, or interfere with the site or other visitors.
6. Other websites
We link to sites we don't run, including Printful, TikTok and Google. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there, and we aren't responsible for their content.
7. Disclaimers
We provide bedc.shop "as is." We work to keep the site accurate and online, including the DC facts on our product cards, but we can't promise it will be error-free or available at all times. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the site. Printful gives any warranties that apply to products.
8. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of bedc.shop, and our total liability to you for anything related to the site won't exceed $100. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Governing law
Maryland law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to bring any dispute about bedc.shop in the state or federal courts located in Maryland. Printful's terms govern disputes about a purchase.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and the new terms apply when you use the site after that date.
